Studio Ziricote is a Paris-based furniture studio. We become the extension of our international clients' teams in France and Europe — sourcing furniture and specialty finishes, developing unique pieces and collections, project managing bespoke furniture and full FF&E projects, with a network of 50+ vetted master furniture makers, millworkers, and specialist artisans.
We work for UHNW homeowners and the professionals who serve them — interior designers, architects, contractors, art galleries, and developers — on luxury private residences across the world. Every brief is calibrated per project, from a single statement piece to a full FF&E procurement package for an entire residence.
Our approach is transparent. Clients choose how they want to engage: purchase directly from the makers under our supervision, or work with us on a consolidated invoice. Either way, full transparency on maker selection, fees, and mark-up.
This approach comes from personal experience. Meet Alexis, the founder who built Studio Ziricote from a deep understanding of both worlds: the workshop and the luxury design industry.
Alexis is the founder of Studio Ziricote, a French company rooted in his passion for cabinet making and craftsmanship.
Before founding Studio Ziricote, Alexis completed a 6-year apprenticeship as an ébéniste (French cabinet maker). He holds a bachelor's degree in quality management and an MBA.
After graduation, Alexis moved abroad to represent French luxury furniture houses. He worked in London with Ateliers Perrault (ADF Group), then moved to New York City with RINCK to establish their American subsidiary. Upon returning to France, he joined James 1840 to restructure their international sales activities.
These 10 years abroad allowed Alexis to collaborate with AD100 interior designers and deliver bespoke furniture and custom millwork projects in three major design hubs: Paris, London, and New York.
Today, Alexis uses this experience to guide international clients through France's artisan world. He manages FF&E procurement for luxury residences, coordinates bespoke furniture with master craftsmen, and represents clients across France and Europe with complete transparency.
France is the world capital of art furniture and exceptional interiors for a reason: its artisans. Nowhere else will you find this concentration of specialty craftsmen mastering techniques that simply do not exist in your home countries. We guide you to these artisans at the earliest stage of your design concept, so you develop furniture and FF&E with finishes and textures that are truly unique to your projects.
We represent your interests exclusively, boots on the ground, close to the makers. We are not affiliated with any atelier and have no reason to recommend one workshop over another except the best fit for your project. Our only mandate is yours. You engage us project by project, with no long-term commitment, and remain fully in control from abroad.
50+ master furniture makers, millworkers, specialty artisans, and emerging talents across France and Portugal, all personally visited, all vetted. We understand each maker's strengths, their in-house capabilities, and the work they do best. One single statement piece, a full collection, 100 custom pieces, or an entire built-in room: we adapt to your scale with the same level of attention.
We bridge two worlds: a full understanding of interior designers' creative needs and deep technical knowledge of how French makers work. English fluent, technically fluent, nothing gets lost in translation.
Tell us about your project and we will come back to you with the right approach.
Thank you — we'll come back to you shortly.
